A downloadable game for Windows

Pilot a tiny submersible into the sub-arctic floor in search of the gates of hell. Search for answers in the dark. Beware: You're not alone.

You never were.

An Exploration Thriller by the Forgotten Workshop

ATTENTION PILOTS

MerCo Heavy Industries Ltd. is now accepting applications for remote observation pilots as a sister project to the ████████████████████████ program! All personnel of clearance level ██████ or above are welcomed to download the test bed and observe and record at their leisure.

Tests are already underway and we're happy to report that, in this wave of testing, only ██% of submersibles were ████! With the upcoming wave we're expecting even more progress.

Come explore the sub-arctic caves of EZ-0 with us! Let's build 'A Bright Future, Together' in keeping with our core guiding principle: "Solutions for Humanity"!

Please see latest Devlog for known present issues. This project is still in early development, though progress from here is anticipated to be rapid.

(Recorded gameplay? Post it in the comments! Your experiences are extremely helpful for development of the project)

found many game breaking bugs: Warning/loading screen stays on. Controls randomly stop working (ie: E wont work to rotate clockwise)

Thanks for the reports! RE: Controls randomly stopping working, how quickly did/does it happen? (Also do you have more than one input device [e.g. a gamepad, flightstick, wheel, graphic tablet] plugged in. Also did the controls stop working at any point before a death/before you went back to main menu)

Control issues happened mostly at random: Sometimes after crossing a noise source, R stopped working, even by mapping a macro key  in both my keyboard and my mouse to register as R. Sometimes it was a movement key (E and LEFT in my case). It could also happen just right after starting a new game in which also the loadscreen could freeze and the game would still run behind it.

Starting a new game (by either death or by quitting back to main and starting a new one) causing control/softlock errors is a known issue that's being fixed but controls becoming unresponsive is new.  I've not been able to get my local copy to have the same problem yet.

Could you e-mail your game's log to theforgottenworkshop@gmail.com? (You can do WIN+R to pull up Run and then put in "%APPDATA%" without the quotes to get to your AppData/Roaming folder; from there you'd want to go up a folder to 'AppData', down into the folder "Local" and then either "Forgotten Workshop/Unfathomed: Event Zero" or "Unfathomed: Event Zero".)

Can you also verify your game says it's "V0.02B" on the main screen? [version number is located in the bottom right]

I uninstalled the game before I was able to read your reply. Folder is gone, but I'm downloading again and will try to replicate my issue. If I happen to do so, I'm mailing you those files
